We're Hanna and Jordan, two musicians and teachers based in the Daventry area.
At The Sound Room, we bring together two distinct musical backgrounds to offer complete, inspiring music tuition in Daventry. Whether you're seeking structured classical progression and exam preparation or a relaxed, creative dive into guitar and songcraft, we tailor every step to your personal musical journey.
We are both DBS checked (DBC-enhanced certificate) and we hold up to date Safeguarding and First-Aid qualifications.
Together, we're building Daventry Music as a small, local music teaching and community music business.

ABOUT HANNA
Hanna is a flautist and dedicated music educator with over ten years of experience in the music industry. Her teaching philosophy is centred on building musical confidence through a friendly, encouraging, and creative approach.
Hanna'smusical foundation is built on classical training, holding a Diploma in Music Performance (DipABRSM Flute) and Grade 8 Flute, alongside a Diploma in Music Performance from the State Music School in Ostrów Wielkopolski, Poland, a Certificate in the Practice of Music Making from Trinity Laban College (London), and a BA (Hons) in Humanities with Music.
In addition to teaching, Hanna bring a unique perspective from her extensive background in the UK music publishing industry, where she worked with prestigious publishers on classical scores and repertoire.

ABOUT JORDAN
Jordan is a passionate guitarist and music educator with several years of teaching experience, offering acoustic and electric guitar tuition in Daventry.
Jordan's teaching philosophy focuses on inspiring a love for the instrument in a friendly, low-pressure environment-focusing on personal enjoyment, creativity, and self-expression rather than pushing for formal grades.
Jordan holds a Bachelor of Music (BMus Hons) from Falmouth University, where he specialised in composition with a focus on ambient soundscapes. Beyond higher education, he has years of live performance experience playing electric guitar in rock bands across Nottingham and London.
Jordan is also an active multi-instrumentalist with a deep love for playing the piano. Alongside guitar technique and repertoire, he loves sharing practical knowledge on guitar setup, tone-shaping, pedals, and equipment maintenance so you always get the best performance out of your instrument.
